The design is a reproduction of the iconic military US Army M-1943 Field Jackets while incorporating denim fabric. The fabric of this jacket consists of two layers: a 100% cotton rugged denim outer shell and an olive-colored cotton twill lining. Outer shell and Lining shell: The fabric of this jacket consists of two layers: a 100% cotton non-stretch, rugged, nappy, and slubby denim outer shell, and an olive-colored cotton twill lining. As part of the finishing process, the garment is pre-washed (also known as one-wash) to minimize shrinkage. With repeated wear, the denim will develop a comfortable feel and a beautiful fade.

Insulation Type: Unfilled and unpadded interlining with no internal padding or fill. Ideal for mid-season wear or layering during the winter.

Types of garment closure (Placket type) : Front Button Closure: The jacket features a concealed button placket and metal buttons engraved with laurel leaves.

Pocket : The jacket has four exterior pockets. Two chest expandable pockets with flap closures secured by concealed button tabs. And two large-sized exterior pockets with flap closures secured by concealed button tabs at the lower front section of the front. The lower pockets are lined with olive-colored cotton herringbone twill.

Collar : Convertible Notched Lapel Collar with Throat Latch: The M-43 features a collar and lapel that lay flat, but the collar can also be turned up and fully buttoned. The throat latch has two buttonholes and is sewn into the inside of the left collar. When needed, you can raise the collar and secure the throat latch to a hidden button on the back of the right collar, providing protection for your neck against the cold.

Cuff type : The two-step button-tab adjustable cuffs with expandable cuff slits allow you to customize the size of the cuff openings.

Sleeve style : Set-in sleeves.

Sleeve Length : Long sleeves.

Other details : Shoulder epaulets with buttons. Drawstring cords at jacket inside waist to adjust the fit.

* This garment features a unique indigo dyeing process, which may cause color to transfer onto other surfaces. Over time, the denim will naturally fade and develop a unique appearance. Because it is indigo-dyed, it can be prone to color transfer (crocking). To minimize this, wear and wash it with dark colors until it becomes well-worn.
